Halloween Wreath

I’m not a big fan of the scary parts of Halloween. I like dressing up and pumpkins and Halloween parties, but I could really do without the spiders and skeletons and ghouls. And since our house is on a pretty busy road, we never get trick-or-treaters (not that I would have turned the light on…

Autumn is my favorite season. I love cozy sweaters, the crunch of leaves under my feet, the smell of frost on the air, the colors of the trees… I could go on and on… So imagine my surprise when all the autumn decor was already going on super sale in the middle of October! There…

Happy Little Christmas Trees

Merry Almost Christmas! I absolutely adore Bob Ross and have been watching Chill with Bob Ross on Netflix a lot recently. So I thought I’d whip up a Bob Ross inspired bit of art for our mud room this Christmas! The “canvas” is actually an old cabinet door that I rescued. Instead of using acrylic paint…

Cheers!

This project couldn’t have been created without our friend Kayla! She gave us the bottle opener and basket as a gift and I got to work making it a festive wall hanging. Props also need to go to my husband Josh for suggesting that I stencil the work “Cheers!” on to the top. I had…

Eat, Drink, and be Married!

I made a cute little sign for Kayla and her now husband Chris for their wedding. It’s made from recycled pallet wood, a picture frame and the type of Command strips that are like Velcro, so they could take the frame off and add a photo from their wedding. I designed the lettering, printed it…
