Cat Tree

Our kitty Cheddar loves to sit in the window, but he's a big boy and he never looks comfortable with the window frame kinda wedged up his keister. So I made him a kitty tree/shelf so he can enjoy the window and give him bum a rest!

This is made out of a 4x4 post cut to the height of the window wrapped in rope for him to scratch, two pieces of 3/4" ply wood as the base and the top, and two pieces of bound carpet for cushioning. He seems to be enjoying it so far 🙂
