Apple Picking

Gotta love the thrift store! I found this hat, shirt, and the apple basket all at a thrift store and spent about $10! The "apples" in the basket and hanging from the ceiling are made from dollar store tissue paper puff balls, with some green burlap leaves and brown floral wire stems. The sunflowers are made from yellow tissue paper and brown felt and the stalks are the same ones used for the Dragonfly window. The burlap skirt is actually fabric from my wedding! Instead of having long table runners, I made small burlap runners that went across the table from person to person, almost like a big placemat for two. These little trumpets are those placemats, rolled up and pinned together.

I love how sassy she looks, hat tipped down and hands on her hips 🙂
