Vermont Truffle Company Ice Cream Stand

This was an undertaking!

The summer months at the Truffle Co can be incredibly slow for business, so I thought it would be fun to start making ice cream! I made plain vanilla, mint chip, and a super rich chocolate ice cream. They were starting to sell well, so I thought it would be nice to have a specific booth set up for the freezer and all the accoutrements that goes along with it: plain and sugar cones, cups, napkins, and a water cup for the scooper. So I got to designing!

The whole thing is made out of recycled pallet wood, aside from the shutters that make the sides (which I got at a yard sale), and is on wheels so it could be moved outside for the street party events that downtown hosts every summer. We were able to borrow a projector to project the logo onto the front of the stand which I then hand painted. The back panels of the stand are removable so the freezer can be accessed for maintenance if needed. There are two additional counter pieces that can be set on top of the frame and a shelf piece that can be added half way up the sides so when it's not ice cream season, the piece can be used as a display case in the store. I strung up twinkle lights so when night fell during the street party, people would still be able to see the booth and I would still be able to scoop ice cream.

It was a great project and I'm really proud of how it turned out!
