The ReMakery
It breaks my heart to think of all the materials and products and items in the world that get tossed just because they lose their perceived usefulness. Not on my watch! I collect those things and remake them into something else as often as I can. This section of my portfolio is dedicated to all the things that I’ve made out of something else.
Quarter Pouch
This wee little pouch is perfect for holding your Aldi quarter or something of similar size that you need on the go! Made from the leftover fabric from an alteration.
Earbud Case
Made from the same leftover fabric as Party Kitty Pouch, but designed to hold your earbuds, no matter where you roam!
Party Kitty!
Made from leftover fabric of a prom gown that was hemmed. It has a zipper and a key ring to attach to keys or a backpack or belt loop – where ever you’re going, Party Kitty will be there to hold your tiny things!

Craft Room Organization
My close friends and family know me well enough to always call me before they throw stuff away, and that’s how I was able to build this unit for my craft room! My mother- and father-in-law were redoing their laundry room and didn’t need these two cabinets anymore. Rather then sending them to the dump,…
Floral Giraffe
This little guy was made from donated fabric that I saved from Make it Sew Alterations that would have otherwise ended up in the trash. His stuffing is also made out of shredded scrap fabrics. So cute!

Cork Board
This was a BIG project. I cut each of these corks in half so I would have enough to cover this old hutch door and I totally gave myself blisters. Not sure I’d tackle a cork project this big again without seriously improving my tools and techniques.
